About
  • I graduated from Edinburgh college of Art in 2001 with a degree in stop motion animation. However, my foray into stop-motion was short lived, and soon after graduating went to work full time as a designer and animator on 2d promos for Fox Kids. After three years, and the transition to Disney Jetix, I left to go freelance. Jobs included working as a senior designer at Chase animation, lead compositor on the BAA winning Heavenly Sword, illustrating on the Bafta nominated documentary feature 'Taking Liberties', and numerous design, animation and compositing jobs on various animated series, commercials, and computer games.

In 2007 I decided to take a step back towards animating, and spent a year studying 3d character animation at the London Animation Studio.

Since then, select work has included designing and animating on a Resistance III viral, illustrating a cover for penguin classics, illustration and animation for channel Four's 10 o'clock live and Frankie Boyle. Directing work has included a segment of 12foot6's 'Get Well' series of short films, broadcast on Channel Four in 2012 , several adverts for Ko Lik films, and a opening sequence for Cartoon Network's Firebreather feature length animation. I recently co-directed a animated sequence for Halo 4 Viral campaign, and has been involved in concept development for a AAA computer game and feature film.

I am happy designing and illustrating, Animating in Maya, or animating and compositing in Aftereffects.

With over ten years industry experience, I am proud to cover such a diverse range of skills, and never let this compromise the quality of my work. I am always looking for new and interesting projects, whether they be in house or from my own studio. Please look around and I hope you find something you like.
